Korikori Park – Hamilton City Council
Pure collaborated with Hamilton City Council to upgrade the lighting at 19 fields across seven parks throughout Hamilton, including KoriKori, Ashurst, Gower, Flynn, Galloway, Porritt, and Enderley. Our team provided a full turn-key solution, managing every stage of the project – from initial design and planning to the final installation – offering a seamless experience for the council and the community.
The Right Light for Every Sport
Lighting That Delivers Control, Performance, and Sustainability
At KoriKori Park, a large multisport venue used for cricket, football, and rugby, we began the project from the ground up, as there was no existing lighting infrastructure. The park required customised lighting solutions to meet the needs of various sports. For one football field, we installed lighting to achieve up to 300 lux, enabling club-level matches, while the remaining fields were designed at 100 lux, ideal for training sessions. KoriKori Park features two cricket pitches and multiple football fields, all illuminated by our Legacy Invictus Floodlights mounted on 15 newly installed poles, ensuring even and reliable coverage across the entire site.
We installed a lighting control system that allows for precise adjustments based on zoning, dimming needs, and usage patterns. This not only enhances the user experience but also contributes to energy savings and operational cost-effectiveness.
