Pure is proud to have played a key role in the exciting upgrade at Hamilton Marist, where both a new artificial turf and cutting-edge LED lighting were installed to transform the facility. This marks a milestone for the Waikato region as it is the first ever 5G artificial turf playing surface, approved by leading global sporting organisations such as FIFA, World Rugby, and the AFL. Along with the turf, we upgraded the lighting to ensure that the field can be used for matches and training at any time of day or night, providing a reliable, high-quality playing experience.
The 5G turf, featuring a blend of artificial grass, sand, and cork, provides a playing surface that is more forgiving and reduces the likelihood of burns, offering a feel similar to playing on damp grass. The new LED lighting, ensures optimal illumination for training and matches, with precise light spill control to minimise disruption to the surrounding area. This combination of advanced turf and lighting technology offers a sustainable, all-weather solution that meets the growing demand for quality playing fields in the region.
